Does anyone remember these days?

Where have my babies gone? I just want to swaddle my boys up and fall asleep with them in the rocking chair. I want them to wear footed sleepers and to "coo". I think I am really missing that stage. I want them to take three naps a day and then still sleep from 6pm to 6am. Where have those days gone? Sometimes I miss the liquid diet. No dishes except for bottles. Sweet, snugly, tiny little babies. Remember when they couldn't talk? When they couldn't respond 'No' to everything. When they took baths in the kitchen sink. When we carried them everywhere in their infant car seats. When they couldn't take their socks off and toss them out of the stroller. When they didn't leave a trail of toys all around the house. The list could go on forever.

But then I come to my senses and remember what it was really like. (1) can of formula every two days. In the beginning, (20) bottles a day. (1) pack of diapers every other day. Sleepless nights. "Bladers" - a term we used when their poop would somehow creep all the way up to their shoulder blades in a matter of seconds. Crying. Crying. and more crying. Spit up. Burp cloths. Nose aspirators. "Bewitching Hour" - the term we used when they just wanted to cry and be fussy every day at the exact same time and it would last exactly an hour. Cranky tummy time. Making and freezing endless amounts of pureed baby food. Finding the perfect way to feed and burp two babies at the exact same time. This list could also go on forever.

Sometimes I just look at my boys in shock. I still cannot get over I have twins. How did that happen? And I really cannot get over that they are two. No more babies. Just toddlers. It is super fun, but it blows my mind sometimes.

Hi Gina -

I love the recent updates! Blake and Chase are such cuties. I can't believe they have big boy beds already. Time just flies.
